What happens if there are restrictions for COVID-19?
We are prepared to develop the sessions online at any point during the program. Hopefully, this will be not necessary! However, because we are meeting in person, all the protocols and measures to protect the participants will be put in place.
Why is this program free?
What is the duration of the program?
The program starts on the 4th of September and finishes on the 16th of October. The group will meet once a week in the city of Rotterdam on Saturdays between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

What are the interviews about?
As part of the Digital Place-makers program, we want to get to know the participants. This is why we will have individual conversations between May 10th and May 31st. In this way, we can tailor even better the contents of the program
Do I need experience with media to participate?
Not at all! You do not need to have prior experience with media production and/or digital storytelling to participate. All you need is a smartphone!
How many participants are in the group?
We are looking for 15 participants with a refugee background that are interested in experimenting with new media technologies and story-telling. The program aims to include participants from different educational backgrounds and levels who currently live in the metropolitan region of Rotterdam.
